Compassion, Access, Respite, Education and Support are what make up our CARES caregiver support program. Being a caregiver is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. The demands are overwhelming and no one can do it alone. The CARES program strives to offer:
- Respite care for caregivers
- Caregiver consultation with information about what to expect & resources available to help
- Additional services available in your community: home care, elder law/estate planning, assisted living/memory care, hospice & palliative care, and counseling services as they relate to older adults
- Bi-weekly support group meeting held at 10 a.m., the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month, for those caring for a loved one with memory loss. This group offers a comfortable environment to connect caregivers on a similar journey – to voice challenges faced, and a safe place to learn, share, and support one another.
